Outlook No search results for POP, IMAP, or Exchange accounts<\/p>\n

ISSUE<\/b><\/p>\n

Outlook search may return no search results for POP, IMAP, or Exchange accounts after updating to Version 1801 (Build 9001.2171).<\/p>\n

Additionally, Event ID 3083 is repeated in the Event Viewer Application Log.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

STATUS: FIXED<\/b><\/p>\n

You'll need to know if you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Outlook installed. To do this, open Outlook, and click File<\/b> > Office Account<\/b> > About Outlook<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Choose the appropriate option below based on what version you have:<\/p>\n

  1. In Windows, right-click Start<\/b>, and then select Run<\/b>. In the Open:<\/b> box type regedit<\/b>, and then click OK<\/b>. This will open the registry editor.<\/li>\n
  2. Find this subkey in the registry and then click it:\n
