To view the files and folder, do the following:<\/p>\n<p>Click Start, and then click My Computer.<\/p>\n<p>On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.<\/p>\n<p>Click the View tab, and then, under Advanced settings, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>For Windows Vista \/ Windows 7:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Outlook autocomplete file can be found at<\/p>\n<p>C:\\Users\\USERNAME\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Outlook,<\/p>\n<p>The file will be named the same as the default Outlook profile with .NK2 for the extension.<br \/>\nFor Outlook 2003, this is usually Default.nk2.<br \/>\nFor Outlook 2007, this is usually Outlook.nk2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Windows 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To import .nk2 files into Outlook 2013, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Make sure that the .nk2 file is in the following folder:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>%appdata%\\Microsoft\\Outlook<\/p>\n<p><b>Note<\/b> The .nk2 file must have the same name as your current Outlook 2013 profile. By default, the profile name is \"Outlook.\" To check the profile name, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Click <b>Start<\/b>, and then click <b>Control Panel<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Double-click <b>Mail<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <b>Mail Setup<\/b> dialog box, click <b>Show Profiles<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click <b>Start<\/b>, and then click <b>Run<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <b>Open<\/b> box, type outlook.exe \/importnk2, and then click <b>OK<\/b>. This should import the .nk2 file into the Outlook 2013 profile.<b>Note<\/b> After you import the .nk2 file, the contents of the file are merged into the existing nickname cache that is currently stored in your mailbox.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Note<\/b> The .nk2 file is renamed with a .old file name extension on the first start of Outlook 2013.
